Mary Tilton: Sister and Sponsor (January 2, 2007) — Our thoughts and prayers are with Peggy Noll and family at the passing of her sister Mary Tilton. Mary was a sponsor in the Scholars and Friends Program, and at Peggy's request we have established a memorial fund in her honor.

Uganda 2002 Census Highlights (March 27, 2005) — The 2002 Ugandan Census has been released, showing trends in population, gender, tribal, and religious distributions. The Census also provides a snapshot of what daily life is like for most Ugandans.

UCU Forms Partnership with Diocese of Pittsburgh (January 26, 2005) — On November 5, the Diocesan Convention passed a resolution to "embrace a special partnership for mission and ministry to the Uganda Christian University."

UCUP Helps Found AGMP (January 26, 2005) — Uganda Partners is one of the founding members of Anglican Global Mission Partners.

Partners with Grace (May 9, 2004) — Akallo Grace Grall went through hell, then college. Most children in Northern Uganda only get hell, because college costs too much. Now you can help them move up from hell and on to college.

Inaugural Charge by Archbishop Henry Orombi (February 2, 2004) — Here is the Charge given by the new Archbishop Henry Orombi to the assembly, including the President, Vice President, and Prime Minister of Uganda.

Uganda Christian University Recommended for Charter (January 29, 2004) — On 22 January 2004, Uganda Christian University received the endorsement from the National Council for Higher Education to receive a University Charter.

Uganda Studies Website (August 20, 2003) — The Uganda Studies Program has a website! As American college students return from summer vacation, they will be considering their options for Spring Semester. Now among those options is the Uganda Studies Program.

New Archbishop of Uganda (July 10, 2003) — Bishop Henry Orombi of Nebbi Diocese has been elected Archbishop of Uganda by the Uganda House of Bishops. He is an Evangelist in the Anglican Evanglical tradition. He begins his official duties in January 2004.

Global South Institute (March 25, 2003) — The rise of a vibrant Christianity in the Global South is one of the most striking events of our time and should bring encouragement to Christians worldwide. However, the same area faces great challenges in terms of development and leadership.

Uganda Studies Program (March 24, 2003) — The Uganda Studies Program will begin in Spring 2004. Many details are yet to be worked out but the general shape of the course is clear.
