In addition, she has been the Chair of the World Mission Commission and the Clergy Family Commission for the Diocese of Dallas. She enjoys speaking and leading retreats throughout the US on topics such as "Angels" (she appeared in a 3-part NBC series on Angels) and her work in Africa.
Diane is married to the Rt. Rev. James Stanton, Bishop of Dallas and their two adult children and families live in the Dallas area. She studied Anthropology at Chapman University including a 5-month university sponsored voyage around the world. She received a BS degree in Political Science (Public Administration) and has spent most of her career working in university administration. She also has worked in the fields of travel, real estate, museum archivist and docent, and as the COO of the American Anglican Council where she chaired a mega-youth conference in Boulder, CO in 2000.
She became the first Executive Director of Uganda Partners in 2002 at which time the headquarters were moved to Dallas. She is grateful to God for His provision of such meaningful and blessed work for the young people of Uganda.
